This week: Top Ten Book Books About Friendship

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1)
Need I say more?

An ARC I read last year. The friendship between Lark and Avis surprised me. They started out hating each other, but then they became like brothers.

I loved these books in my childhood (and I still do).

Things Not Seen (Things, #1)
A really sweet story about the friendship between a blind girl Alicia (hey that’s me!) and an invisible boy, Bobby.

Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke and Bone, #1)
I have to include this because I just love Zuzana and I wish she was MY friend…

The Book Thief
For sure. Liesel and Rudy 4evs.

May Bird and the Ever After (May Bird, #1)
This series is definitely about friendship because at first May doesn’t have any friends except her cat, Somber Kitty…and then she makes friends with a bunch of ghosts. And they do amazing things. And make amazing sacrifies.

A Great and Terrible Beauty (Gemma Doyle, #1)
The story of friendship between four very different girls. And there is magic involved.

The Prophecy of the Stones
A story about friendship between THREE very different girls. Also magic involved. (seeing a pattern?)

Charlotte's Web
If this isn’t friendship, I don’t know what is (:

Aww, Charlotte’s Web! That is a pretty amazing friendship example. I haven’t read that book in years, but now I have the sudden desire to re-read it. I started Daughter of Smoke and Bone and I have to agree with you – Zuzana would be an awesome friend!
