Question of the Week: What is your favorite tv series that you can watch over and over again on Netflix?
This actually came at a great time for me because I just recently started watching Netflix (and yes now I am hooked). I don’t watch too many TV shows, but I like watching Disney movies and horror movies (weird combination I know). As for the TV shows I plan on watching, it’s sad that they don’t have my favorite cartoons (Spongebob or Jimmy Neutron, and only 2 seasons of Adventure Time), but they have the few animes I like watching (Ouran High School Host Club and Hetalia) and I also plan on binge watching Glee sometime soon (I used to be in love with the show but I haven’t watched it in years). I also heard from a friend that House of Cards was pretty good so I may start that. Hm. There aren’t really many other fandoms that I participate in that have a popular following. (For those of you curious, the fandoms I love the most are Adventure Time, Spongebob, Harry Potter, and Homestuck. The only ones I’m practically religious about are Adventure Time and Homestuck. I used to be more religious about Harry Potter and I still watch tons of Spongebob but I’m not as fanatic as I used to be.) HOWEVER. Like any true fan, I’m still waiting for my Hogwarts acceptance letter.
I seem to be on a horror movie kick. I’ve watched Children of the Corn movies for like 3 nights now. I’ve watched 1, 3, and 4 (they didn’t have 2 on Netflix for some reason) and they seem to be getting progressively worse, but still interesting. I’m on a search for the perfect horror movie. I didn’t used to watch them at all before, but now suddenly I’m hooked by the genre. Mostly because I don’t lose my s*** when I watch them, instead finding them rather interesting or funny in some cases (especially when I watch with friends). So I haven’t seen any really good ones. You’ll have to recommend some. The two I can remember enjoying the most are The Ring (and the sequel) and Woman in Black, although both had a sort of more depressing undertone. It really worked with both, especially with Woman in Black, which also included a nice amount of jump scares. I’ve also watched more gory ones, like The Human Centipede (and the sequel) which is messed up in so many ways (but I liked it). I don’t find that horror exactly but scientifically fascinating. Eh. I’ll watch pretty much anything. I’m not picky.
So what are your favorite shows to watch on Netflix or just plain TV? Share your links or just comment below! Happy FF!
