First Book in Your Collection/Last Book You Bought

I don’t even know the first book I got! But I know that I used to be crazy about collecting the Magic Tree House books. I had all of the main series and the first of the extended Merlin Mission series. And then I gave them all away ):

The last book I bought was Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, and I have a review on that already.

A cheap book/ An Expensive Book

Cheapest would be all the books I get free- the ARCs, the Kindle deals, the giveaway prizes…

The most expensive book I bought was the Codex Seraphinianus and that was about $100!

A book with a Male Protagonist/ One with a Female Protagonist

Male: Harry Potter!

Female: Graceling! the protagonist is Katsa.

A Book you read fast/ A book that took you long to read

Fast- most books! I’m averaging a book a day now. I’ll use the most recent example- I started/finished Attachments yesterday (as of writing this).

Long- Any of the Lord of the Rings series.

Pretty cover/Ugly Cover

Jane Eyre

This version of Jane Eyre. It’s so plain and boring. Ew.

Inkspell (Inkworld, #2)

This series has GORGEOUS covers.

A national Book/ An International Book

National: The Truth About Alice. It takes place in my very same state: Texas!

International: The Paris Wife, I suppose.

Fiction Book/ Non-Fiction Book

Fiction: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.

Non-Fiction: Julie and Julia by Julie Powell

A thin book/ A thick book

Thin: The Hanging Tree by Michael Cash.

Thick: Atlas Shrugged, my 3-in-1 copy of Lord of the Rings, my 7-in-1 copy of The Chronicles of Narnia, Attrition, Harry Potter 5…..etc.

A book that made you happy/sad

Happy: The Phantom Tollbooth

Sad: The Book Thief

Male Protagonist/Female

Male: Percy Jackson

Female: Katniss Everdeen

Very (way too) romantic /Action book

Romantic: Clockwork Prince. But I loved it because of it.

Action: the Maximum Ride series.

There we go!
