This book was really long (it seemed) but really good! There was always something going on and the plot didn’t let up for a minute. Honestly it was hard to find a stopping point because it was always right in the middle of something.
Read on because this is a super long and unusually thoughtful review (these don’t come along every day, at least on this blog).
This book was pretty satisfying. I learned pretty early on that I wasn’t going to be completely on board with the romance aspect so I instead chose to concentrate on the historical aspect and was rewarded. Although I got quite frustrated with the main character and her close-mindedness.
