Man, I love this holiday- I love FOOD. Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers and fellow bloggers. Let’s have a list of what I’m thankful for.

Thank you, food.

What would I do without you. I love eating. Way too much. Savory, salty, sweet, salty, salty, salty…..I LOVE IT ALL. (Mostly the salty stuff.) This is one of my favorite holidays because we can cook a huge feast of amazing food. We usually have turkey, of course, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, corn pudding, and my excellent Brussels sprouts recipe. For dessert there’s apple crisp <3 and pumpkin pie with ice cream. My mouth is watering thinking about what I’ll be eating later today…

Thank you, family.

I love my family. My parents of course, my amazing beautiful cat Charlie, and my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and the rest of my extended family. It’s great to be surrounded by people that care about you.

Thank you, friends.

My friends are the greatest. I love them all with a fierce passion. They add spice and fun to my life and are the siblings I never had. (Well, I had them before I was adopted.)

Thank you, books.

How could I forget books? Books are AMAZING. Books are life, man. You know that. I don’t have to tell you how great they are (: Whether it’s reading, reviewing, editing, writing, or bookbinding, books are always something fun to do.

Thank you, music.

Music is also a huge part of my life. I’m always listening, playing, or composing. I’m so thankful to have had the chance to play the piano for 11 years so far and to have had fantastic teachers who are inspirations to me.

Thank you, art.

Arts and crafts prevent boredom. I’m always doing something, and always doing something new. It’s fun to explore the different mediums and learn to create something from scratch, to leave my mark on the world in a physical way. Believe it or not, I’ve probably spent more money on art supplies than books, and I have over 430 books…physical ones…

Thank YOU!

Thanks for being amazing readers, bloggers, followers, and friends. You are what make the book blogging community the best place to be and I love all you guys.

Now let’s celebrate! Bring out the turkey!

How are you celebrating Thanksgiving? What food are you making/eating? (PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT THE FOOD. I AM NOT KIDDING. I NEED TO HEAR THIS.) What are YOU thankful for?

Happy Thanksgiving! I'M THANKFUL FOR YOU! Spread the love this holiday season (: Click To Tweet
