Main points This book was super good. I’d say it didn’t suffer from Second Book Syndrome at all. To be fair, I didn’t remember too much of the first one, but bits and pieces came back to me as I read this one. I had forgotten just how character-driven it was. Seriously, the dynamic between them was almost more intriguing than the plot. It was just all over the place.
